Daphne is the International Rescue Committee’s Europe Head of Policy. She leads IRC’s work influencing economic policy impacting on displaced populations on themes including jobs, humanitarian cash transfers and women’s economic empowerment.

Daphne specialises in gender and women’s rights and is a UK Gender and Development Network board member. Before joining IRC she was Women’s Rights Adviser for ActionAid UK, Amnesty International USA's Advocacy Director for Women's Human Rights in Washington DC and a UK government policy adviser.
